i found a original set of fenders i striped the paint and primer off, what i ended up with is shiney metal in most places but these black splotchs all over, these splotches seemed to be pitted also. i used must for rust it turned white then i soft wired brushed it and washed it down. they seem to be ok for primer now. My question is are these black spots ready for primer ? or will they bleed rust. Also have some small holes and dents and crinkled metal at the lower ends of the back of the fenders, i was thinking of brazing these is this acceptable. Thanks JR.
