Painting gravity wagon, method, etcPosted by Markieees on August 08, 2007 at 09:37:16 from (65.223.237.181): Hi, I have a gravity grain wagon that I plan to paint. I will use TSC paint and also TSC primer. I have a few questions... This is my first attept, I will purchase a HVLP air gun with a 1.4 or 1.7 mm tip? I am reading different information from different paint cans...how soon can I recoat? How many coats of each paint? DO you give a light coat twice? Then dry for a few hours then give the topcoat or do I have to wait a few days before the topcoat? Can I do the primer on Saturday AM and then the final topcoat on Sunday AM?A gallon of paint says it covers 400 sq feet...the wagon sides combined are 400 sq feet... Anything else I should know? Thanks!
