The only thing that is certain is that there were never two identical LOVE tractors that came off of the line at the factory. There are so many variations due to the "use what we have" policy that Jabez Love employed. During the war, there were a number of "tractors" built with parts supplied by the person wanting a tractor. I met someone that actually worked in the factory in Eau Claire, Michigan and have several b&w photos taken in the factory. I have a 1950 rowcrop and Paul Zoschke has a 1937, 1939 and a 1954 orchard models. The rowcrops are harder to find. I know of 15 and although they are similiar, none of them are exactly the same.
