I have a Magnatrac 5000 with a loader (and a dozer blade which can be swapped for the bucket), three point rear hitch and a backhoe (takes about 20 minutes to swap the 3pt for the backhoe using an air impact wrench). Yes it works hard! The backhoe is a joy to use, even on steep grades. I am currently digging a ditch down a 20% slope! To do much lifting with the loader you need a ballast box on the back or the backhoe mounted. It wants to tip forward without the extra weight. With 400-600 lbs weight on the back it can lift a quarter ton. Only three drawbacks: 1)It is that it is slow moving 2)It just barely loads over the side of my 5 yard dumptruck 3) in wet mud containing rocks and stones, the tracks can get jambed up on stones in the sprockets.
