What are your plans for the tractor? Farm? What jobs do you need it for? I had a 1750 bust a crank and we sold 310, bought a front tub off an 1850, and put a 354 Perkins marine engine in. Came out great, and was cheaper (and more reliable) than rebuilding the 310. Or option "B" would be to cut your losses, part out what you have left, and put your money into a nice 2-85 White, which I might add could be had for around $7500-9500. With that you have better hydraulics and better brakes and the reliability of a Perkins. Just my 2 cents. Sorry, just seen WAAAY too many bad things happen with the 310.
