Tearing down a 30 prepping for painting. Looking to pull engine from tub just for ease of cleaning and scraping ect. but may replace clutch if warented after its out. At this time near every thing is off tractor already and apears will only be nessasary to remove 4 bolts and disconnect clutch from tranny. This disconnect is discussed briefly in manual but any advice or precautions on this step would be aprieciated. Going through manual theres no mention of pulling PTO shaft say as in a Oliver or Cockshutt 1550 which I've done much work on in past. I'm assuming the LPTO is driven differently in a 30?? Anyways figured to ask the pro's so I don't do something dumb or have a reck. Any advice would be apprieciated. Thanks in advance. Rocko.
