Thanks for the seal number. I'll get one before I tear into it. Hopefully it is a seal issue and not the "O" ring. That one sounds like work! Now a rebuild of the steering cylinders and the fuel shut-off valve and I should be leak free. I'm still not sure exactly how to fix the fuel shut off valve either. When I took it apart the "O" rings or whatever they used to be were only a blob of goo. Not really sure what size they should be or where they actually go on the shaft. I think we could use some adjusting on the carb also--maybe a rebuild. We'll see once we run a tank or two of good gas through it. I have to put this one aside again and move to brakes on the '47 Ford truck. My project list is extensive.
