post a link to it? I have a 4k 1 2v winch from HF.. black plastic kind. ( same as the reese that walmart sells for 90$ by the way same model # on tag.. just different main sticker.. :)

it is setup to do single cable.. or double the cable for half speed and more pull.

obviously does more rolling laod than dead pull.

It's the winch I have always taken with me when fetching tractors.

I can tell you for sure it will pull a 53-64 era non running, but rolling.. ( flat tires even ) ford tractor onto a trailer if you have a car battery setting on the trailer.. I always take a battery with me when fetching tractors too.

I can tell you also that while it did not like it.. it greatly assisted loading a e350 converted passanger van onto a trailer from the side of the interstate. we doubled the cable and had a man on a come along helping.

got that huge van loaded.. would have been a nightmare without the winch.. as I can tell you i HAVE loaded vehicles of that size on my equipment trailer using nothing other than ratchet straps and a high lift farm jack setup to pull or push... ugh.. what NOT fun that is. :)

My standard 'go' rig now has a full set of tools, jacks, hi lift and bottle and screw type.., wheel chocks, cribbing timber. spare battery. air up tank and small compressor, winch, and spare battery. electrical tool kit including truck and trailer spare lamps and fuses and doo-dads and butane powered solder iron.. extra flat brad trialer wire and crimp kit.. spare trailer plug.. lots of e-tape and bailing wire, also have an inverter built in to side of tool box #1 on te truck, and a power outlet at rear of truck as well as a work lamp and 12v plug accy at both of my 7 pin locations in bed and at bumper. this rig also carrie extra diesel and a gas jerry can, plus 1 tool box (#2) of just needed emergency fluids for truck or could be used on another auto.. I have my old set of hoses and serpentine belt from last service in a trash bag plus extra clamps too. good set of led work lights.. prybars and irons.. etc.extra CPS for the 7.3 powerstroke too. truck is my 99 450 with 3 tool boxes and 70g xfer tank.. setup to pull gooseneck, 5th wheel, 4 ball sizes and pintel if really eeded. air bag suspension ... has a 4.88 rear so she don't go much over 73.. but will pull the proverbial house doing so... she's old.. but works..
