I'm guessing you started on Fleet-type boats and ended up on Boomers or the like? My Dad was on the Burrfish (SSR-312) as well as the Congor during the Korean War. We went together to the Memorial Service at Kings Bay last weekend, which was a blast - included a tour of the USS Wyoming, which is quite the difference from the old diesel boats (but amazingly are still running the old 1930s design Fairbanks-Morse 'rock crusher' engine for backup power).
