Hey I believe it and comend ya on yer table top high tech coil analyzer,,, you can do the same thang with a 9V radio battery are double A's wired in series if 6v's is yer thang.
don't all front mount owners have a stash of broken coils :oops:
Never hurts to check but have found the OEM resistor is all that's needed,,, its possible that the wrong coil was in the kit to start off with,,, BTDT,, talked to the supplier and they don't give a chit,,, send the bad coil back.
A front mount can not tolerate leaving the ignition switch on for long engine off,,, 6 are 12 it will heat'em up and make'em puke are crack
