I pulled the starter on my '44 2N today. The starter drive (aka Bendix?) had apparently jammed. The photo shows wear on part 11367 Pinion and Barrel Drive (1942 parts list). I'm thinking it should be replaced.
Questions: - Do you agree that I should replace it? - If so, should I replace it with the "new improved starter drive" (52-11350C on this web site) or the original style (R2325 on this web site)? - How do I remove and replace the starter drive from the starter motor?
