As r geiger, told ya....that peice is to insure that the adj. power screw does not move from the intended setting. The later M/S TSX carbs did not use this.
This carb, came from IL., off a 1941 9N. First one that I have ever worked on in this good a condition, that had all the orig. peices still on it!!! :shock:
Now all I have to do .....is get it RUNNING good!!! My testing did not go well today....sooooo, I must have missed something the first time around.
There is always a first, in everything ya do!!! :lol: Back on the work bench for this one. Top end power is not what I liked. Must still have a restriction in it somewhere. :x
