I just purchased an 8N over the weekend. My first tractor really. However the lady sold it to me as is. It starts and runs fine. I just don't know of any good references for parts, questions, etc. For example I noticed the the hydraulic works when I lift the shredder but slowly drops. I don't know if it has the wrong fluid? I noticed a 5 gallon hydraulic fluid next to the tractor I believe it read 20-40. I just read online it should be 90. So now I will start there thinking it's the fluid and not the pump? I also don't know what kind of links or bars should be in the rear of the tractor? Air filter looks does not look complete? There is a cover on the hood? Don't know if it's modified or missing parts. These are just one of many examples I'm trying to resolve. This is all a learning experience for me. Any suggetions?
