Does the touch control handl fall when the lift falls?????
If so the friction disc need to be tightened or replaced on the quadrant.
It is possible that the cam follower pin is work off and dropping off the cam when it reaches the top of it's travel and the picks it up again when the touch control handle is lowered. Also the link that holds the pin can be bent or worn so at the pivot point that it can't stay on the cam.
