Tom, Zane responded to my post about thinning paint. He said to mix thinner in, and then raise the stir stick out very quickly and watch the drops. When the paint running off the end of the stick goes from a solid pour to droplets, then it's thin enough. Seemed to work ok for me, but I thinned some impliment enamel for my John Deere snowblower that said do not thin. Turned JD Yellow into a real light yellow. Talked to a local collision shop, he said you cant thin some enamels. He recommended on those to put the paint on a hot plant and heat it up (being careful as paint can burn!). Said it'll shoot good when warm. Good luck, I'm thinking about tearing my Golden Jube apart today to start fixing things to get ready for paint. What paints are you using from NAPA? I'm curious to the color specs. I'm not going for an original reproduction tractor, mine gets used too much to be a show tractor. I just want it to look a little better. Mike
