Almost all appraisal districts are going to digital imagery and GIS parcel data to keep track of the real estate. The USDA uses it today to monitor crop planting. Even your insurance carrier has access to the legal owner and other related data of ones property. Our city has flown the entire incorporated boundary and recorded in GIS (ArcGIS), various improvements such as edge of pavement, all utilities, swimming pools, fences, topography, and parcel boundaries. Aerials are in 3" pixel resolution. OUR FARM
