I have a jet star three, and the brakes are terrible. I pulled the brake covers off, and fluid came pouring out. Would I correct in assuming it is leaking from the seals on the bull pinion shafts? Also, would this be trans fluid I am getting in there? Wondering because I am loosing hydraulic fluid as well, but I cannot locate a leak from higher up..tractor is quite used and has not been restored, so a full pressure wash may be in order, but anything to look for would be great. I am an ASE master auto tech by trade, so this is a bit different to me!
