The book calls for SAE 90 in the summer and SAE 80 in the winter. There has been alot of discussion about the newer gear oils not being good for older tractors.You may be able to do a search to see what it's all about. I have been using hdra-tran in mine but it may cause problems later, I've only had it 26 years.
