I have a 1945 JD model A and live in central Georgia where the temperature rarely gets below 32 degrees F for any length of time. The service manual calls for 140 weight oil in the transmission and 30 weight in the engine. I was wondering what others on the list are using in the transmission and engine on their tractors? I would especially like to know where you can get 140 oil in a 5 or 10 gallon container. The transmission takes 8 gallons. Thanks...Ray
