teddy52food- yeh, i guess if i had a few years under my belt in working on these great putt-putts, pulling a starter WOULD be a simple task. However, I've pulled starters on quite a few cars, pickups, and even our old Ford from the farm when I was growing up....but EVERYTHING is new to me with these Deere's. My aunts and uncles had Deere's on some of their farms but I only got to enjoy the sound of the beasts once in awhile when we would run to their farm to help bring in the hay before it rained, etc. Begged my Dad to get a Deere but he kept hanging in there with the old Ford.
