Bryan, You are close. All two cylinders will interchange totally while the new gens use larger hubs. All NF will bolt on any tractor but if going to a new gen to a two cylinder you should bring along the wheels to go with the front end.
I think my A is the one Tim is referring to. It has a new gen mast but has two cylinder knuckles in order to be able to use my two cylinder hubs and wheels. Two cylinder hubs will not fit on new gen spindles. I tried it. The spindles are larger as is the hub and wheel centers.
The easiest thing to do is to get the new front with the wheels unless you stay within your vintage.
In short all two cylinder NF will interchange totally while New Gens will bolt up but the two cylinder wheels or hubs will not fit.
