Yes they were made at the same time and it was an option to get either style. I’m not sure what year they started. You may be able to get a serial number data sheet from 2 cylinder club that may show what it originally came with. I guess it would be kinda neat at a show to have an example of each style on the same tractor.
I had to buy a new set of pressed steel wheels for my A, they were like $150 each plus shipping. Be careful though, I didn’t notice it at the time but Mr. Larson noticed that one of mine has the correct 4 cutouts and the other has incorrect 5 cutouts.
