Loren, The tractor shown with that caption is a 70 Standard. Having grown up in North Dakota, I was around big standard tractors a lot (they were the norm there) and never before had heard the term "stander". I understand why it may have been used on some models which had a low seat placement which would make it necessary to stand up on them to see (in some cases) where you were headed. But the JD 70 Standard was definitely not in the low seat category. It's another of those interesting things we find out by participating in these discussions. Thanks.
