While I agree that you don't need to worry ablout your PTO and damage based on the belts and PTO clutch on the chipper, I disagree about the power comment. I have stalled my Ford 5600 with my chipper, and before it pulled it down I was running it nearly wide open, so depending on the size of the chipper and how hard you feed it, they can draw some horsepower.
