The backhoe was made by Brantly Manufacturing. That company was bought by Amerequip, which closed down operations in Frederick several years ago. (Mr. Brantly died in 1993.) Mr. Brantly was best known for his B2-B helicopter, which still is being made at the Brantly plant in Vernon, Texas. However, I think they would have nothing on the backhoe. I married Mr. Brantly's widow in 1998. I am giving you Amerequip's URL below. They still make backhoes. Maybe this will be helpful. Just to make sure, I'm typing Amerequip's website address here, too:
