Very possibly a correct type sharpening will take care of the problem, But there are hardley any one out there that knows how to correctly sharpen the blacksmith type share that you have. The last price I heard for those shares is $170 apiece. I told a couple of posters that I could give them the procedure and how the share should look like and how to sharpen them if they would send me there snail mail address as what I have could not be sent email but never heard back from them so have not compiled the information. I have hammered many a share but not having a large enough forge and a power hammer and with atrhritis I am not going to do the sharpening that one said about having me do. If enough people would want to learn how to do it I will make up a small booklet of instructions. Basic nose sharpening could be done with a rosebud tip on a torch but not the edges but a lot of times only the nose needs to be reshappened.
