I sold my 750 Massey yesterday. I had it for sale for about a month and really was worried as to what I was going to do with that thing. I live in so. Mn. and farming is very progressive here. This was the best 750 with heads around bar none. However it was to old for today's farmer no matter how nice it is. Also the area market is dominated by J.D. and Case. I myself am replacing it with a Case 1660. Just to hard to find parts for the 750. The guy that bought it is from Armstrong Ia. and has a newer rotary Massey and had a 7720 J.D. as a second kinda backup machine. But he broke the cylinder shaft in the J.D. this fall and decided it is not worth fixing. He said he does not need a second machine time wise but got kinda used to having one. So for $10,000 he bought mine. I am thrilled with price even though in my mind I know it is worth more then that for the shape I know it is in. But in reality to anyone else it is just a 33 yr. old combine. I had already accepted that I would have to take it to a local consignment sale and get my $2500 so you can see where I would be very happy about this. I do not feel guilty at all about getting that money for this machine as in my mind I know he got his monies worth. I am just giddy with excitement. Have a good day.
