Allis Chalmers
Most Allis Chalmers tractors prior to the early 1960’s used Delco ignition
and were the spring-clip type cap. From the mid-1960’s on they used Delco
with the screw-down type cap.
Case
Case used Autolite distributors with most distributor numbers beginning
with the letters "IA" or "IB"
Ford
Ford used its own distributor on most models. Conversion kits are
available for the 8N side mount, NAA, and 600-4000 series four cylinder
engines.
Conversions are also available for the early N-series front mount distributors on a special order basis.
John Deere
Most John Deere tractors prior to the early 1960’s used Delco ignition and
were the spring-clip type cap. From the mid-1960’s on they used Delco
with the screw-down type cap.
IHC / Farmall
International used its own IHC distributor on most models built from the
1940’s through the 1960’s, although Delco was used on several models.
Massey Harris
Massey Harris used Autolite distributors and the distributor number will
likely begin with the letters "IA".
Massey Ferguson
Most Massy Ferguson tractors prior to the early 1960’s used Delco ignition
and were the spring-clip type cap. From the mid-1960’s on they used Delco
with the screw-down type cap.
Minneapolis Moline
Most Minneapolis Moline tractors prior to the early 1960’s used Delco
ignition and were the spring-clip type cap. From the mid-1960’s on they
used Delco with the screw-down type cap.
Oliver
Most Oliver tractors prior to the early 1960’s used Delco ignition and were
the spring-clip type cap. From the mid-1960’s on they used Delco with the
screw-down type cap.
