The crank pin can look good and still be out of round. You need to check with a micrometer. I do not remember what is charged around here to turn a single cylinder crank. I just had a KT-17 done. Turned all four bearings to 10 under cost $56.00. It has been a while since I have done a K241 so I do not remember the prices But IMHO ANY K-series Kohler is worth rebuilding.AVERY TOUGH engine if maintained. Not terribly fuel efficient and the clean air people do not like them as the exhaust, being a flathead, is a little dirty but they are a solid engine.
