Sounds like a safety switch that isn't completely tripped. Try playing with the mower engagement lever and clutch/brake pedal while turning the key, you will most likely get it to atleast click or turn over. Once you find the one givng you problems, investigate whether it needs adjustment, replacement, or wire repair. Just a sugestion. Matt
