A good friend of mine had one of these. It is older than 5 years old. He bought his in 1993 and was a year old model at that time. They stopped making them around this time. I believe there were built by AYP (american yard products) who also made Ropers at that time. If you can get the model number it should start with 917.xxxxxx. The 917 indicates it was built by AYP. Also you can got to www3.sears.com and type in the model number to see what parts are availiable. He only kept it for 3 years, but I don't remember him having any trouble with it.
