You are WRONG, Bunky!
That type of Motorola alternator NEVER had an internal regulator. Often (in vehicle "apps"), the original regulator was mounted on the fender or firewall.
The aftermarket regulator jerry-rigged to the back of your alternator MAY have been made by Transpo.
If you are bored enough and like to be aggravated you can surf their site (which I have linked below) and see if you can find any information on the regulator setup you have.
Of course, you could make things easy on yourself and get a Delco 10SI alternator at a cost of $5 to $10 "recycled" or about $50 re-man.
