: I have a Ford 800 Series tractor, and would like to find out what the exact model number is. It is a gas burner and has a 5 speed transmission. Can anyone tell me what it is or how to figure it out?

I also have a 800 series Ford from 1955. The model number for your 800 should be hand stamped on the transmission case just above the starter area. You will also find your serial number there, too.
