Well I just got through (Or I thought I was through) with a friends "52 TO30(Clutch R/R,fuel tank cleaning,Carb rebuild,Fuel shut-off R/R, throttle linkage R/R(the hard to reach portion, the little ball stud was broken and froze),everything I had to remove for the work I sandblasted or wire wheeled and re-painted(as this probably will not be the last time I work on this "Lil Grey). I had just finished a trial run to set carb and govenor(all good),turned tractor off,was to bolt on the hood and happened to notice a leak near the front of the tractor,so I thought a re-check of the hose clamps, except everything was tight. Could not find a leak around the obvious(water pump, neck, hoses). Then I slid under the front of the tractor and saw the leak below the crankshaft(not good I thought). Checked oil dipstick and suspicions were confirmed....so I only hope it is just the gasket. I emailed John(UK)looking for tech sheets...I never take much for granted(I"ve done a few head gaskets in my life)...besides I"m also making a little manual of at least what I"ve done to the "Lil Grey"....All comments or advice welcomed. I really enjoy working on these old tractors...It is a welcomed change from the paramedic business
