The ring gear on my TO 30 needed a different fix so I took it to a person I really trusted. We thought about three different ways then after looking through the archives we decided the best fix would be to install the ring gear as per manual then he would take it to work and drill 4 holes into the very edge of the flywheel and the edge of the ring gear. After tapping threads in the holes he installed allen head screws and so far I am very happy with the out come. I would do this next time if I had to replace another ring gear on another Fergy. Richard
