O.K. my TE-20 still has a miss when running, rebuilt the carb, new points condenser, played with timing, ran better but still not quite running right. There were brand new plugs, wires cap rotor when purchased.I know there is a charging issue (working on that) removed the spark plugs #1,2 & 4 had carbon deposits but plug #3 clean as new, must be a bad wire, so new metallic wires, ran the same.Sparking o.k. removed plug #3 again and put my thumb over hole and cranked engine, found suction but no compression (verified by other cylinders) still in Rookie mode thinking Valves???
