If the tractor doesn't have any power it may need the governor adjusted. I've learned the hard way that it doesn't take much to throw them out of adjustment and it won't have any power.I run 30 weight in my TO20 myself.I won't say for tractor engines but I know on car engines 10 psi of oil pressure per 1000 rpm's is ok. I would think as long as you have 10-15 pounds you should be fine. Also a lot of the gauges you get now arent the most accurate when it comes to tractors. I have heard of new gauges being off up to 10 psi before. Sorry to hear about your health problems.
