I'm getting into a TO20 restoration after doing restoration work on '60's and '70 Chevelles. I found that there is a huge drop in quality and fit of reproduction components for these cars compared to original or NOS. In most cases I was better off refurbishing the original parts than buying new reproduction parts.
Is the same thing true with the Fergusons? I'm guessing that very few parts are still made in the US or UK. I'm hoping the quality and fit will be good enough to buy new than try to refurb some of the worn out stuff on this old heap. Thanks, BillL
