You will need to drop the oil pan and check the Pump and while you have it off, you should check the bearings on the Crankshaft as well. What is the oil like right now, have you got the correct grade in there, are there any unusual noises coming from the engine now. No pressure is not good. It could be that the Pump is not turning due to something shearing, drop pump and take it apart to measure wear at the end of the lobes on the "gears", should be no more than .010", if the wear is approaching that anyway, it needs changing, you can check components while you do all this. The Radiator needs cleaning out often 2 or 3 times a day when it is dusty and there is vegetation blowing around, the same applies to the Air Cleaner as well. Use a hose from the engine side to the front and make sure that you get all over the radiator especially into the corners. Use a light at the engine side and look in from the front so you can see just where there is any blockage. If you allow the engine to overheat like this there is a big danger that the Cylinder Block or the Head will fail.If you need help, just ask..John(UK)...fergusontractors@hotmail.com
