I will. All it takes is one of the Ford engines for me. I don't need many. But here's the suspected problem:
Do an eBay search on ford engines 221,260, 289 even without regard to year. About 200 hits maybe. That makes the ford engines even more rare than Packard V8 engines (used only 2 years). Then do an eBay search on Chevy 283 (not to mention 265, 302,305,307,327, 350) and get about 1500 hits on the 283 alone.
This has been the problem over the many years. Chevy is about the ONLY engine other than B+S and maybe HD that retained design consistencey for decades.
Many thanks for the F 221,260 and 289 (64 and earlier). I'll keep researching as i go. In the meanwhile i'll try some gerry rigging to fix the current Z120 just to patch me thru until i can find a ford engine.
