HA! You all thought it was going to be bout the Standard engine! There seems to be an epedemic of this going on, lift piston plague or something. Dealer out of these parts till next week... they did a couple dozen of these this summer, the shelves are bare. Lucky me the bolts let go before the cover did, a bear to drill out, and broke a ring taking it off the piston, which appears to have been broke a long time, the broken chunk was in the tranny sump, oil stained for awhile from the looks of it. Bolts were the fresh snapped pieces. Breaking the ring got my goat. Any fergie engine ring that could fit? I got tons of them...
