Hello First question is...Does anybody have a good lead on new threaded studs for between the diff housing and the axle housings? Our TE20 is missing some and it also looks like someone over the years has replaced some with bolts.
Second question is...we installed new gaskets between the diff housing and the axle housings and they are basically very thin paper with some kind of very thin coating on it. The instructions dont say if you should add a thin line of gaskets maker to help seal it on or not. Any recomendations on this? When they get moist do they swell up to seal? Seems like an elementary question I know but I want to get it right. Thoughts? Thanks!
