Bill's repair - IH in Kalona, IA

Has anyone dealt with Bill's IH repair in Kalona, IA? Dad and I took a Farmall B to him to get running and do an engine overhaul on. Dad made all of the original agreements/arrangements with him, but has asked me to go pick up the tractor (while he's out of town) I called to arrange pickup date. When I asked Bill what all he did to the tractor, he said, he couldn't remember because it's been so long ago (tractor's only been done a week) The original agreement was to do everything that was needed to get the tractor to great mechanical condition, including overhaul, for $1,400. Requesting complete itemization of repair wouldn't be out of the question would it? We've never used him before, but want to verify that all work has been completed and our expectations were met, and that HE is also happy with the deal, as we may take more tractors to him in the future. Thoughts?
