R Wisehart,
Your implication and deliberate allegation that I was told to say what I have shows your true intentions.

No sir, it is you who have missed the point. I speak from my experiences with Ted. I have known Ted for at least 6 yrs now and feel that with all my dealings with Ted, I feel I can state how he is a moral and honest person.

I've been burned enough to have a list of those I trust and those I don't. Ted is definitely on that first list. I will speak for or against ANYONE I have dealt with and how they do business, whether it be on here or elsewhere.

As to your self-proclamed "mediocre" clevis; you should have given a chance to resolving the issue before just throwing a fit well after the fact on a public online forum without first attempting some sort of resolution. How is someone to know that you are not happy with something unless you tell them??? Hmmm......

I personally, after a year or more, would be telling you to shove off; you knew what you were buying and could have said something a long time ago. There is no way I would warranty every 50 to 70 year old part or tractor, or most new parts for that matter, I sell after year. Things need to be handled in a timely manner and you didn't, tough luck.

Oh.....
Now after reading Ted's response to your complaint again, he was nice enough to even ask you what will make you happy rather than taking my route. WOW, sounds stand up to me!!
