STEVE your right I am sorry.I am sorry that the thing does not meet the rosy description that you painted of it . there is oil in the coolant i found this out after idling about 5 min the temp rose to 230 degrees, pushed the button for pressure release on radator turned the cap got scalded with coolant took a gallon of water looked at the radiator and it is all clogged with my guess, liquid pig manure and straw mixed with it the radiator was so darned clogged the you couldn't see light through it let alone get air to pass through it. the radiator at one time has kissed the fan blade hard a lot of the cooling fins are flat. the accelerator linkage does not funtion, the choke is not working. the generator is shot near burnt the skin off my hand when it touched to see if it was charging any, it sure isn't doing any thing for the battery. the valve cover is rusted so bad that it is not just surface rust it was scale i actually peeled it off with my fingernail this thing is not the barn queen that you lead me to believe. the levers for the steering i had to pull back almost to my chest to get them to respond and when it did the motor started stalling. i took a 4 ft pry car to the cable on the winch to retract it and it is jammed so tight it wouldn't budge i'm going to have to burn the cable with a torch in several places just to get it off. oh and that lovely rube goldberg pvc set up after i rebuild the motor i'm going to hafta remove it and put it back like it is designed to be. of course the hour meter is shot, the ampmeter isn't showing anything charge or discharge. and the oil pressure gauge takes 30 secs to get up to pressure i just can not wait to drop the oil pan. carb rebuilt?? ha ha the carb does not even respond to adjustments on the needles oh when you shut it off the fuel does pour out of it til the residual pressure is out of the fuel line there are a few more things wrong with it but i think everyone gets the picture Steve i just wish you had the picture when you put your description in the ad "what a barn find" Steve you can find crawlers just like this one in any state in the union.. " uc great"? Steve the edge of the rollers are about 1/2 inch from the edge of the track pins the uc is fair.." hardly used by farmer" Steve i bet the farmer did hardly use it my bet is he dropped dead from a heart-attack when he realized what a gem he had on his hands."paint job would make it shine" Steve if you dropped this thing in a tank full of paint it wouldn't do a thing for it.steve i told you that i needed this this for work around here it wasn't gonna get a paint job and sit in the barn looking like a 2.00 lady of the night it was going to be put to WORK..this thing barely made it to the barn. Steve all was this was obvious Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could have seen all this, imagine what they could have seen with good eyes. I'm sorry Steve i still would not buy anything else from you and i hope nobody else falls into a situation with you i'm going to have to throw good money after bad and fix this thing up and not dwell on it i certainly do not wish you any ill.
