I'm planning to go look at an H parts tractor on Wednesday. A tree fell on it and damaged the radiator, grill, hood, steering shaft and muffler at least. The engine is stuck. It has rear tires that look fair in the photo and I would like to put them on my H. It also has wheel weights that I could use. I don't know much more about it, but from the pictures it looks to have a belly pump and the carb, maybe the governor, the tank looks okay and the front pedestal and wheels are okay. The guy wants $650 for it, but I am thinking of offering $350-400 depending what it looks like in person. Does that seem like it would be an insulting offer? I've not bought parts machines before, so I'm a little unsure what to offer. I'm hoping to use the parts I want and sell the other parts for what they'd fetch to cover the purchase price.
