Well I done it now! I was going along fine when I started to hear the sound so I stopped the dozer and as I suspected it was dry of oil. I filled it up but too late it now has lost power and it has quite the knock. Damn thing I know its my fault for not checking and keeping an eye on it but I didn't realize it went thru oil that fast. I just changed it about 10hrs of use ago. Any ways I would really like to rebuild it. I figure a set of bearings and rings and gaskets are in the mix. Anybody rebuild one of these buda engins? can it be done with the engine in the dozer or does it need to come out? any tips or suggestions that might help. Thanks Tom
