If you want to read about hay go to hay and forage.The hay ground in the USA is a all time low.We have as much now as they had in 1953.That is crazy better plant more.Good luck to all and be safe its harvest time or coming soon. |

| It's no suprise. Watching corn roll off the combine into the truck is a lot easier than bucking bales all summer only to have to tell cheapskates that you won't take $2.50 a bale for hay that will bring 10+ this winter at the auction. I still do some but with the fertilizer, rent and machinery costs as high as they are and practically no kids wanting to buck bales, 20 acres is about all I want to mess with. |
