Hi guys, I am just a small farmer in Minnesota. What is your opinion of spraying fungicide on soybeans? Have you seen an increase on yield enough to justify the cost of fungicide. The stuff is not cheap. It has been fairly dry this year with timely rains and my beans still look good. They are starting to set pods and I was pondering getting out there soon and spraying it. Let me know what you think. I appreciate your advice. |

| Thanks guys, That's what I was hoping to hear. I am on 24 inch rows and most the beans are a little higher than my waist and some up as high as lower chest. Aphids aren't at the thresh hold yet. In our area hardly anyone has sprayed aphids yet. |

| | Are you spraying for anything else, like aphids? Then tosing in a 1.2 rate like they say might pay off. If you are making a trip for only this, I think it is not worth it in dry conditions. As mentioned, your row width, etc. makes a difference. --->Paul |

| Was told by extension that its too dry for fungus to form and grow. Save your money and spray for insects when needed. So far thats whats been done around here. Cedar Rapids area |

| | What width rows do you have? How wide is your sprayer? You may knock down more beans than you save. Fungicide people are trying to make you think you need it in dry weather as much as wet weather. I call hog wash. Gary |
