does this year tractor come from the factory with a starter solenoid on the starter or does it have a push lever to start

The "C" had a kick start rod that went to the starter and I don't remember ever seeing one any other way.

It should not have a solenoid on it but I have seen more then one that had them because the kick rod can be a tad hard to work

The CA and very late B had a pull starter, like the WD45. I wanted to change my B and C to that, but it requires a dimple in the bottom of the gas tank. So I compromised. I drilled another pilot hole in the starter nose cones, and turned the starter motors half a turn. Then I made a copy of the late B/CA rod support(goes in the end of the throttle lever pivot bolt) Now I have hand-push starters. Much handier than trying to twist a big boot around the brake pedal to push a starter rod.
